What is R.T.E ?
This act is made by the parliament in the 60th year of the Republic India.
Although, there were various schemes and provision in India for child
education before the said act came into being but those did not reach the
goal. As because the child of today is deemed as backbone of the future and
hence giving to much importance it is nothing unusual.
According to this act, child means a male or female child of the age of 6 - 14
years. On the other hand, elementary education means
the education from Class - I to Class - VIII.
